Tony Chin é um dos grandes heróis da era de ouro da Jamaica do reggae na década de 1970. Como o guitarrista da banda soul syndicate  a banda de estúdio principal em Kingston durante essa década eletrizante, Tony ajudou a âncora de alguns dos maiores sucessos da época ...................................



Com uma carreira musical que abrange mais de 30 anos Tony Chin é um verdadeiro fundador da música reggae. Nascido em Kingston, Jamaica e criado nos caldeirões de Trenchtown e Greenwich Farm, a carreira de Tony começou na era Rocksteady da década de 1960 e progrediu em reggae na década de 1970 como um membro original da SOUL SYNDICATE Alma sensacional.

Bob Marley

 

Bob Marley (1945 - 1981), nome artístico de Robert Nesta Marley, foi um cantor, compositor e guitarrista jamaicano, responsável por tornar o reggae conhecido mundialmente.

Bob Marley teve uma juventude bastante difícil em uma favela de Kingston, o que acabou ajudando-o a retratar em suas músicas os problemas sociais. Inicialmente, sua carreira musical começou com o grupo The Wailers, que incluía Peter Tosh e Bunny Livingston.

Seu primeiro sucesso foi "No Woman no Cry" e foi onde o reggae começou a ganhar fama internacional. que consquistou o mundo. Seguiram-se I Shot the Sheriff, famosa pela interpretação de Eric Clapton, e Get up, Stand up.

Bob Marley também foi um dos maiores representantes do movimento rastafári, que chama seu deus de Jah. O movimento surgiu na Jamaica, e foi Rita, a esposa de Bob que o influenciou a aderir, e ele também foi o responsável por propagar a religião pelo mundo.
